Frequently Asked Questions

Does every one get to cook?
Our kitchen is set up so every one gets to cook! We have 4 cooking stations and at each station are 2-3 recipes. You cook the recipes at your station, you cook enough for everyone in the class and once all the dishes are completed we sit down and have a family style meal.

Will there be someone there to help?
Every class has a trained Gathering Table instructor and class assistant who are there to help guide you through your culinary experience.

Do I need to bring anything?
We provide the kitchen, the food, and fun atmosphere! We also provide water & iced tea. If you would like to bring a drink to pair with your meal please feel free to do so.

What should I wear?
We love the perfect outfit for a night out! Just keep in mind you will be standing and cooking for at least 1 1/2-2 hours. So just make sure you are comfortable!

What if I have a food allergy?
We try to accommodate every guest the best we can. However sometimes menus can not be altered. To make sure the class will be right for you please email us prior to class to make sure we can make adjustments.

What is the youngest age for participation in evening classes?
Our classes welcome children ages 14 & up. We are unable to host children younger than 14 years old in our adult classes due to the pace of the class.

Should I Tip?
A gratuity is a sign of a job well done. While tipping is not expected, it is always appreciated! Please consider for private events and let us know if you would like us to include in the price per person for your event.

What if I need to cancel?
Refunds are only given if the cancellation is made 2 weeks prior to the class date. All refunds are subject to a 5% processing fee.

Cancellations within 2 weeks and 72 hours prior to class will receive store credit.

Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class will only receive a store credit for the portion of the cost that we can recover to fill the seat(s).

We understand life happens and unexpected events may occur. However please understand that we have made the necessary purchases and staffing arrangements to ensure the best experience possible and must be able to cover the costs.

You are always welcome to transfer your seat to someone else. Please let us know the new attendee’s name.

All store credits are good for 1 year from the date of the class.

All the classes are sold out. How can I book?
Our class schedule is posted on the 1st day of each month for the following month. It’s best to check the schedule on the 1st to get a reservation.
